 Montasser began his legal career in 1991 as an associate with a large Cairo law firm, where his practice included corporate and partnership transactions. This was followed by a sixteen-year stint as in-house counsel and head of legal departments for a diversified banks and financial institutions, large commercial groups, real estate investment, oil, gas and gold exploration and exploitation large groups and telecommunication company in Middle East and North Africa.

 Montasser specialises in transactional corporate and commercial law. His practice spans a wide range of areas, including joint ventures and mergers and acquisitions, as well as project, infrastructure and strategic finance.
